Continuing with episode 3, the final one: Cross My Heart.

The video begins by showing the girl at rest, while many events happen around her. This suggests that a lot of time has passed while she remained there. Then the boy finally finds her. Curiously, he finds a giant version of her, while the real girl is inside that larger version.

The boy starts playing a flute. In my reading, that flute may represent words, since small blue lights enter the inside of the giant girl. Those lights seem to carry good memories from the place they belong to, as well as memories of the boy's own search for the girl.

This causes a red light to leave the chest of the real girl, and the chest of the giant girl opens. In a way, an opening appears so the boy can continue his search. When he finally finds the girl inside that larger version, there seems to be some kind of confrontation. She throws the red light at him, and he falls as if he had been struck. Shortly after, however, there seems to be a real reconciliation: the girl rescues the boy and does not let him fall.

From that point on, the two try to leave the inside of the giant girl and come across huge versions of themselves. Those versions sing and play the flute, as if trying to contain the disagreement that triggered everything.

I cannot interpret the lyrics with the same clarity with which I interpret the video in this final episode. They seem to describe the girl's willingness to reconcile, as well as the place they came from, or the place they belong to.

In the end, I see these three episodes as a story about people who became distant and suffered because of it. With conversation, memory and the courage to move through challenges like ego and the need to be right, maybe reconciliation is still possible.
